Warwick Applefest takes over downtown Warwick (10990) on Sunday October 4. Orange County’s biggest festival, with Main Street closed to cars, artisans lining the sidewalks, apple cider donuts on every corner, and live music all day. Warwick is a walkable village with a strong restaurant scene and Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery just outside town.
Hudson Valley Garlic Festival. September 26 and 27, Cantine Field in Saugerties (12477). The biggest garlic festival in the country, and one of the top three fall festivals in the Hudson Valley by attendance. 200+ vendors and cooking demos.
